What is this, more posts? Blasphemy!!!

by Hoyter on Feb.25, 2009, under My Life, Randomness

So,

Its a new year, a new me, and more free time. I added some toys to the site and might actually post more with them. I have been drawn into Facebook lately. I am working to intrergrate some FB, Twitter, and Random other places I visit to the site. I am kinda hoping Hoyter.net will become a little portal. I just have to stop being lazy and get to posting more.

Night folks and hope you had a great Fat Tuesday!

And remember to go buy Night Watch/Day Watch on DVD. We really need to convince Bekmambetov to get going with Twilight Watch.

Red and Nerdy?

by Hoyter on Feb.22, 2009, under My Life

There are others like me?

So here I am, bored after a great night hanging out in Nashville with friends. I hit up Facebook, it’s dead today. I then hit up Digg, its dead as well… except for a post on Shaq using twitter. Before I run off onto a tangent I found A foot and a Half. This is another random blog from an IT guy in AZ. While browsing his site, I came across something that caught my eye.

Venn Diagram

What is it with Geeks and Redheads? I always assumed it had something to do with my colorblindness. Red was a color that was easily more visible, though recently I think everyone I meet is a red.  Hit the link for more detail.

A foot and a half: Robo-babe of the Day: Felicia Day.

EDIT: After sitting around and thinking about it, i can name several of my friends who hear the calling of the red. Surprisingly, all of them fit into the geek category as well. I wonder if there is some sort of exclusivity draw. Geeks, already in the minority looking for an equal in something hard to find?  -And so my on again off again infatuation with Felicia is back on. <Randomness off>
